Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on Saturday to deepen the two countries’ strategic partnership.
Xi Jinping said China and Russia have worked closely together in dealing with the international financial crisis, and expanded their bilateral trade. He said the two sides have made breakthroughs in cooperation on energy and resources.
And he called for implementation of cooperative agreements on energy and technology as well as expanding two-way investment.
Medvedev praised the two countries'' bilateral relations saying they are better than they have ever been. He also added China and Russia should work together to push forward reform of international financial and monetary systems.
