Sony''s Extended Product Warranty provides basic protection by extending the standard Sony Limited Product Warranty for an additional term from the date of product purchase. The length of warranty extension varies according to the specific agreement purchased. Extended Warranties cover all parts and labor for defects in materials and workmanship, including premature electrical/electronic and mechanical failure, and are subject to all of the terms, conditions and limitations of Sony''s standard Limited Product Warranties. Features include:
- Toll-free phone support and technical assistance from purchase date throughout warranty term.
- Return shipping costs for the customer''s covered Sony product(s).
- Includes Depot level service for most products; Onsite service is provided for select Display models.
- Simple warranty registration online or by fax.
- Available for Camcorders, Cameras & Control Units, DVR/VTR''s, LCD Displays, Broadcast Monitors, VPL Projectors, Security Products and more.
- Extended Warranties are available for products still within their standard limited warranty coverage period. Limitations and exclusions apply.
